Luckily, there was always one actor out of each shot that wasn’t in the shot, and so they could operate the camera at the time. Another member of the group and I had to find a whole 4 more actors for the task! We decided that the camera operator (me) should also come out from behind the camera and act this gave us one more actor but a little less control of the shots. On top of this, we found out that the two people we had arranged to help us with the filming at the time became no-shows, and thus more actors were needed. This was considerably more stressful than the planning process, as at the beginning of the event we did not have all of our members together, and when we eventually all grouped up we found out we were missing two members, one who handled costumes and the director, two very crucial roles.

The two openings were made due to the fact that the boys group was two members less that the girls group, thus we needed extra members to make up for the deficit, as we would need them to have a full cast for filming. Lastly, we had to make sure we had all the necessary arrangements to have the two openings for actors filled for the day of filming. Much more family friendly, and actually available to us at our age, not to mention it was legal for us to use them. These obviously involved sunglasses and fake cigarettes, which were eventually decided to be replaced by candy sticks. As mentioned, this involved finishing the storyboards that had to be detailed enough to help us on the day of filming, then we had to decide upon filming locations for the shots we wanted to film, then the props had to be decided. This isn’t to say that the planning did not have its own difficulties, as it was initially a challenge to divvy up the tasks and workload between us, and I believe the final result ended up a bit poorly as our team consisted of a single person being tasked to do storyboards and as a whole a decent crew to complete the planning process. The planning process was deceptively simple, as the opening in question did not seem to feature too much that required a lot of thought or pre-planning, if anything the biggest item we thought of that might improve the scene and prove difficult to acquire was a bald cap to give to an actor to be the one bald character in the cast.
